    well … what can i say … what a f….in crappy sunday riding back from kingston … 8 degrees .. 25 km head wind … rain …just a nasty .. nasty day …. 10 kms outa westport … who goes driving by .. paul smeulders .. life saving guru sent from the gods above to save my sorry old ass from frezzin and dyin out in the middle of fricken no where … when paul saw me wearin the wheeler colours loud and proud and soggy … he turned around and came up to me offering anything he could form his car … jackets .. clothes anything i wanted was at my disposal … of course by then i was f…ed … and when i asked him if he wouldnt mind giving me a ride back to ottawa … no hesitation at all … before i knew it my bike was on the rack the hunks of wood in the back of his car was reshuffled to make way for my frt.wheel … heat was on in the car and were good to go … whooaaa … it doesnt stop there … paul suggests we do a reconisense ride back to westport to check up on paul datars group which included pauls wife sally … well the next thing you know … paul emptied out all those hunks of wood ehhh dont know what they were for ???? from his car … sallys bike … matt large … rick sudac bikes were loaded in the car .. frozen…wet bodies loaded in the car and off we went back to ottawa with the heat on full blast the windows fogged up and paul stripped down to his undies to keep from passin out from the heat and humidity in the car …. kiddin about the undies ….. paul … the life savin guru from heaven … whos a wheeler … and my beer drinkin buddy ….. PAUL ….. BEERS ON ME FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER …. thanks … g/man
